Travel Data Analytics Firm Promotes Two

In the US, data technology firm TRX has promoted Scott Gillespie to VP, Strategic Initiatives, while Kristie Beck succeeds him as Senior Director, TRX Travel Analytics.

Gillespie will lead market research and business modelling for the firm's data-related products designed for the travel sector. He joined TRX in 2006 when the company acquired Travel Analytics - the corporate travel data reporting and analytics firm he founded in 1999. Previously Gillespie worked at management consultancy AT Kearney where he become its global expert on travel supplier sourcing. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago with a concentration in Statistics, and a BS in Business from Arizona State University.

In her new role, Beck gains general management responsibility for product development and client delivery. She previously served in procurement roles at American Airlines, and at airline IT and sourcing consultancy Aeroexchange.
