Experian Launches Attributes Tool

February 28 2008

Information solutions giant Experian has developed a data intelligence application that promises clients the ability to create predictive assessments based on multiple data sources.

'Attribute Toolbox' enables organisations to connect to multiple data sources, and build, fine tune and manage those attributes needed to make informed decisions throughout the customer life cycle.

The firm says its new solution provides a service-based application that makes it easy to integrate with existing systems and allows clients to use common tools to manage attributes across their organisation.

'The ability to effectively harness data available for decisioning is the core advantage of the Attribute Toolbox,' explained Gary Kearns, President of Experian's Decision Analytics. 'It enables clients to access information from a multitude of data sources and use this information to create predictive assessments.'

Experian provides decision analytics, marketing services and credit services to clients in more than 65 countries. The firm employs around 15,500 people and is online at www.experiangroup.com.

In October, the company launched Totalvue Retail - a retail market database to help marketers track consumer purchase behaviour (www.mrweb.com/drno/news7477.htm ).
