Mintel Gives Clients Oxygen

Mintel has launched a one-stop online platform, to be known as Mintel Oxygen, to provide clients with easy access to market analysis and forward-looking predictions.

The new system provides 'easy to digest' consumer market reports; daily news articles on corporate, product and advertising activity; and a mix of data, opinion and comment across a wide range of sectors including food and drink, personal care and financial services. It also includes 'What's Hot' and 'Fast Forward Trends' sections, which highlight issues in a category, and offer expert opinion.

Pam McHugh, General Manager of Research at Mintel says the tool provides clients with user-friendly access to information. 'After 10 years in the US, we want to help our clients understand where trends are going and how they can best profit from them. It's no longer enough just to identify what has happened, we need to be able to predict what will happen. With Mintel Oxygen, we now have the data, the expertise and the tools to explain the trends that will shape the future.'
