Builders Panel Launched

US building industry web site ToolmanDepot.com is recruiting contractors to join an online research panel, to gather information on their likes, dislikes, behaviors and attitudes on behalf of industry manufacturers and service providers.

Surveys will be designed using self-survey technology created by Oklahoma-based Zipsurvey, but post-survey analysis will be handled in-house.

Spokesperson Richard Labus explained that as part of the recruitment drive, his company will be e-mailing existing ToolmanDepot.com site users to invite them to join the panel. He added that once signed-up, survey respondents will be randomly selected from the firm's respondent database and all members will have an equal chance to be selected for survey participation.

Those who do participate will be offered incentives and awards such as the opportunity to win gift certificates, or advertising space on the site.
