Ziment Adds Business Units and Leaders

In New York, healthcare marketing research and consulting firm The Ziment Group has added two new business units and appointed Eva Laparra and Jonathan Spiess to lead them.

Eva Laparra and Jonathan SpiessLaparra has been named Vice President, Marketing, responsible for marketing and communications programs for all group companies. She previously co-founded healthcare data collection agency All Global in London in 2002, which was acquired by Ziment parent WPP in 2007. Before this, she held management positions at two other London-based healthcare MR companies. Laparra has an MSc in International Business and a BSc in Business Management.

Spiess joins Ziment Group as VP, Technology and Innovation, responsible for providing technology solutions to advance Ziment's operations, marketing and product development. He has more than 20 years of business technology experience, and has held technology and R&D management with pharmaceutical companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb and Johnson & Johnson. He was also a Principal and CTO of digital marketing agency Digital Resolution, which he founded in 1997. He holds a BS from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
