ITV Hires AOL Director for Insight Integration Role

In the UK, broadcaster ITV has appointed Chad Wollen as Director of Marketing Strategy, tasked with embedding audience research and consumer insight into marketing, planning and brand activity.

In his new role, Wollen will report to David Pemsel, ITV's Group Marketing Director, where he will lead the firm's marketing and brand planning strategy, working across its portfolio of consumer, broadcasting and global content businesses. He will also work in partnership with the Research and Insight teams.

Pemsel commented: 'Chad brings with him a fantastic blend of experience that will be crucial in better informing us how we can become smarter and more in-touch with our viewers through our marketing strategy.'

In his previous role as AOL's Director of Insight, Foresight & Media Innovation, Wollen was responsible for business intelligence, customer processes, consumer insight and competitor intelligence. Prior to this, he was Head of Marketing and Strategy at Yahoo! Mobile Europe, and Associate Director at The Henley Centre.
