MESH Opens AsiaPac Operation

May 19 2008

London-based communications research agency MESH Planning has opened its first office in the Asia Pacific region and appointed former InsightAsia MD Craig Griffin as Managing Director in Singapore.

Craig GriffinThe firm says this expansion will allow it to roll out its proprietary TROI (Touchpoints Return On Investment) technology - which enables advertisers to measure consumer interaction with their brands through mobile phone technology - to clients in the AsiaPac region.

Griffin, who joins with eleven years' experience of the international research industry, previously headed InsightAsia's Thailand office. Prior to this, he held senior roles at Research International in Singapore and The Leading Edge in Australia. He is also a Director of the Thailand Market Research Society and is a frequent speaker at conferences.

MESH Managing Partner Fiona Blades explained: 'The Asia Pacific region leads the way in the use of mobile technology, which is fundamental to our TROI approach. As soon as I met Craig I knew he was spot on for MESH. His spirit of innovation, depth of research experience and love of Asia marked him out as just the right person to take us to this next stage.'

MESH Planning was founded in 2006 by Blades and Stephen Phillips. It is part of the 38th Floor Group that also includes Spring Research and Tuned In, a lifestyle research agency.
