Health Care Specialists form Marketing Partnership

Life sciences intelligence firms Cegedim and Skila have formed a global marketing alliance which will promote three tools / solutions from each company.

Cegedim provides pharmaceutical CRM and strategic healthcare industry data, and Skila integrated marketing and medical solutions. The collaboration aims to help clients address the challenges and opportunities of launching new products, as well as manage their customer relationships.

Laurent Schockmel, CFO of Cegedim Americas, comments: 'Our customers are always looking for innovative end-to-end solutions in these areas, and this alliance will allow us to provide that.' Moish Tov, his opposite number at Skila, says the partnership will offer clients 'the industry's most unique, robust and sustainable solutions' in the firms' key areas.

Three Skila solutions will be co-marketed: its relationship-building and management solution iAdvocate, which includes opinion leader profiling, planning, targeting, and segmentation tools; knowledge pooling tool iLaunch; and global business performance management software iPerformance.

For Cegedim, the pairing will promote IcoMed, which measures physicians' preferential attachment to products that they prescribe while evaluating the size and profile of their clientele; international healthcare professional database OneKey; and Physician Connect, which helps identify prescribers who influence peers' prescription writing behaviors along with local networks of influence among physicians.
