New Confirmit Adds Features, Promises More

May 30 2008

MR software provider Confirmit today announced the debut of version 12.5, the latest update of its flagship product. In addition to immediate benefits, the firm says it lays the foundation for big changes in the future releases.

Chief Strategy Officer Pat Molloy says the new release allows greater efficiency and speed in launching long and complex surveys; more efficient emailing capabilities; a wider range of reporting options; and greater scope for integration.

The software's CAPI function has been developed to improve the speed with which interviewers can complete their survey assignments and will drive improvements in organizational productivity, says Molloy.

Version 12.5 also introduces a new database format that serves as the foundation for a 'modern, multimodal data collection platform' due in the next version. Says Molloy: 'The range of enhancements in Confirmit 12.5 not only provide immediate and significant benefits for both MR and EFM customers, but they form the basis for many of the groundbreaking developments which will take place in the next version of Confirmit.' The new format means users can store multiple surveys in a single survey database; it also speeds up the generation of databases and the retrieval of survey data for large and complex surveys.

Confirmit has more than 200 employees and offices in Oslo (headquarters), Guildford, London, Moscow, New York, San Francisco, and Yaroslavl, with partner resellers in Milan, Santiago, Sydney, Tokyo, and Valencia. It became a public company in December 2005, and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. Web site: www.confirmit.com .
