US-based ad and media research specialist Sequent has added a new partner. Madison Avenue veteran Alice Sylvester joins from Interpublic's DraftFCB where she was SVP-Account Planning Director.
Sequent was formed in mid-2003 as a brand-building metrics consultancy with a focus on the long-term value of marketing assets, but now concentrates almost entirely on helping clients through the transition to new forms of media.
Sylvester is a past chairman of the board of the Advertising Research Foundation, also led at one stage by Sequent co-founder and packaged goods marketing and research veteran Jim Spaeth. She will also work with Bill Moult, founding partner of the Marketing Science Institute and a former President & CEO of Ipsos ASI, who also worked in leading research roles at ad agencies Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett, and J. Walter Thompson.
