Seoul Office for SSI

Survey Sampling International has opened a new office in Seoul, South Korea, and appointed Simon (Quan) Zhang to lead it. Zhang worked previously for Tesco International Sourcing.

The firm already has Asia-Pacific regional offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Sydney, and Tokyo, with additional representatives in Guangzhou and Kuala Lumpur; and provides online access to respondents in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan through its managed communities.

The Korean MR market is expanding rapidly According to ESOMAR: marketing research revenue in the country reached $335m in 2006, up 9.4% from a year earlier. The new office will provide SSI's clients wirth sampling, programming and hosting, data processing and panel building solutions.
