Visible Technologies and BI to Analyse Social Media

US blog and social network tracker Visible Technologies has joined forces with WPP digital marketing agency Beyond Interaction (BI) to provide new ways for the latter's clients to understand, measure and participate in social media.

Through the alliance, BI will offer its clients insights derived from Visible Technologies' social media analysis platform TruCast, to reach consumers who are moving away from traditional media sources. TruCast2.0 was launched in May to enable companies to analyze and participate in blogs and online communities.

'This partnership helps us deliver this type of actionable intelligence and quantifiable insight to improve our clients' ability to listen, learn, measure, and participate in social media,' explained Laura McFarlane, BI's Managing Partner and Chief Strategy Officer.

BI is part of media communications firm MediaCom, which is in turn part of WPP's Group M. Last September, Visible Technologies received $12m in a second round of funding from WPP and venture capital company Ignition Partners.
