July 10 2008

In the UK, insight agency Nunwood has expanded its London team by appointing Chris Webster as Client Consultant and Kristina Baumgarten to the Market Analytics team; and relocating two of its Leeds staff, Kim Walker and Ester Petrie.

Sarah HoughtonAs a result of these appointments and following several new client wins, Nunwood, which also has offices in Leeds and New York, is looking to move to larger premises in the capital. Sales at the London office have grown by 45% and revenues are on course to double compared with 2007.

Webster joins from Nielsen, where he worked on a range of global harmonization projects for multinational FMCG clients. In his new role he will be working with some of Nunwood's key clients.

Walker will work in London as an Account Director and Petrie a Senior Client Consultant, both in the Global Insight division. Walker joined from Millward Brown two years ago and has a background in global brands and communications work. Petrie has been with the firm for three years, during which time she has built her consultative skills while conducting a wide range of global work.

Baumgarten joins from WPP agency Ohal and will focus on the application of advanced statistical and modelling techniques to business issues.

London Director Sarah Houghton said of the expansion: '2008 has started well for us and the increase in new business has resulted in a need for extra office space for our ever growing team.'

Nunwood was recently named Marketing Services Company of the Year at the 2008 SWOT awards, and last year, the firm took home Marketing Magazine's 2007 Agency of the Year Award.
