IRI Hires Technology Head

July 11 2008

In the US, consumer analytics firm Information Resources Inc. (IRI) has appointed Bernard Nann as EVP and General Manager of Technology.

Nann was previously SVP and Chief Technology Officer of software analytics firm Fair Isaac, which he joined in 2003 after the firm acquired his own company NAREX. Nann founded NAREX in 1995 and developed software for applications including analytics, proprietary artificial intelligence-based scoring and optimization. Before this, he held several positions at TRW.

In his new role, Nann will report to CEO John Freeland, who comments: ' Bernard brings an extensive record of accomplishment, most recently completing a major integration and centralization of Fair Isaac's technology functions, which resulted in freeing up development staff to pursue significant new product development projects.'

IRI will integrate all of its technology-related operations under Nann. In addition, he will focus on generating revenue and income from existing and new technology solutions, ensuring client satisfaction with technology deliverables and strengthening technology alliances.

IRI provides consumer, shopper, and retail market intelligence and insights to CPG, retail, and healthcare companies.

In March, the company launched a number of analytics platforms for the CPG / retail marketplace.
