MRA Development Role Changes Hands

August 15 2008

In the US, professional body the MRA (Marketing Research Association) has announced the resignation of Director of Development, Lucy Haydu and the appointment of a new VP of Development, Ruth Freedman.

Freedman joins from Focus Vision where she spent thirteen years, most recently as Senior Account Director of Research Partnerships. In her new role, she will build relationships with the association's membership community and the profession. She comments: 'This is such an exciting time to be part of MRA because of all the new initiatives within the association and in the industry. I'm looking forward to helping create buzz and excitement about all the changes going on.'

Haydu, who has worked for the association for more than three years, and has been instrumental in building its Research Industry Forum to a strong position in the market, said the three years had been a valuable experience and that leaving had been 'a very difficult decision to make'.

Based in Glastonbury, CT, the MRA is online at www.mra-net.org .
