Experian Names Data Strategy Director

August 28 2008

In the UK, global information services firm Experian has promoted Bernie Grady to the position of Data Strategy Director within its Business Information division.

In his new role, Grady will lead a dedicated team focused on developing and executing the division's data, matching and scoring strategy to ensure it continues to maximise its data assets.

Grady was previously General Manager responsible for business-to-business analytics company pH Group, which was acquired by Experian last July. He joined Experian in 1994 from Staffordshire University Business School, since when, he has held senior positions in product management, product development and data operations.

Tony Pullen, MD of Experian's Business Information division, comments: 'The breadth and depth of Bernie's experience and expertise will help fuel the division's further growth by spearheading new partnerships with data providers and developing new data capabilities as an integral part of our business strategy.'

In the UK and Ireland, Experian employs more than 4,000 people in over 30 offices. Last week, Charlotte Hogg joined as MD of UK & Ireland, responsible for driving growth across the firm's decision analytics, marketing services, interactive, strategic accounts and credit services business lines.
