Offshore Analytics Firm Gets $30m Investment

Knowledge process outsourcing firm Mu Sigma has received a $30m boost from investor FTVentures, which will support expansion of the firm's analytics capabilities delivered from its centre in Bangalore, India.

Dhiraj RajaramMu Sigma provides advanced analytics and business intelligence through its onshore team of domain experts and business professionals in the US, and dedicated offshore team of mathematicians and scientific practitioners based in India.

'FTVentures brings highly relevant expertise and an extensive network in the financial services industry, as well as a successful track record in helping to grow offshore outsourcing companies,' said Dhiraj Rajaram, Founder and CEO at Mu Sigma. 'This investment will help us continue to penetrate the financial services, health care, retail/consumer packaged goods, and technology verticals.'

As part of the deal, FTVentures Partner Brad Bernstein joins the Mu Sigma Board.
