Crowdsourcing Launch for Survey Analytics

September 30 2008

Survey Analytics has launched IdeaScale, an application using social media, surveys and messaging to improve customer and employee engagement, based on the principles of 'crowdsourcing'.

The system takes ideas posted by customers or employees and then allows them to be voted up or down a ranking, so that the most popular ideas 'bubble' to the top.

A number of customers have beta tested or are currently beta testing IdeaScale - they include Choice Hotels International, whose Director of Hotel Performance Training John Thompson comments: 'The concept of IdeaScale is appealing to us as it provides a relatively simple way to canvas customer opinions and then give those same customers a voice to watch their ideas come to life. We believe it represents one of the new frontiers in customer feedback technologies.'

Vivek Bhaskaran, co-founder and CEO of Survey Analytics, comments: 'IdeaScale will help a broad array of companies and organizations better engage both their customers and employees and create dynamic communities around their products and services.'

Seattle-based Survey Analytics offers a range of online tools including online survey software QuestionPro; email distribution list manager ContactPro; and online polling service micropoll. Web site: www.surveyanalytics.com .
