GIA Merges with Partner Companies

Finnish research provider Global Intelligence Alliance (GIA) is merging with three of the companies in its GIA Network: East Asian-based Fusion Consulting, Gayer Consulting in Germany, and DeskResearch Nederland.

The firm says the move will help it provide clients with access to efficient research and in-depth intelligence across the globe, specialists with local market and industry expertise, and a single partner for custom research and consulting services. Global practices focused on industry verticals will be developed in the new structure.

GIA says it has witnessed growth in demand for market intelligence in new geographic areas over the past three years 'due to the increasing globalization of supply chains, economic slowdown in Europe and North America, and rapid business expansion in the emerging markets.'

Fusion Consulting has offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
