Web Analytics Proactive Measure Launched

October 29 2008

Web analytics developer NuConomy has launched a platform that helps publishers, advertisers and users analyze social marketing performance and community engagement through comments, ratings, and links shared with friends.

The new 'NuConomy Studio' automates the chores of 'slicing and dicing' data and building customized reports, while its data mining engine continually monitors all aspects of site traffic and user behavior.

This approach can uncover patterns which the firm says would otherwise have been buried under mass amounts of data, such as a change in commenting trends for European visitors, or changes in a campaign's performance.

By tracking engagement and site activity at the individual user level, the new system automatically builds behavioral profiles for each user - such as who is posting comments or sharing recommendations with friends. This enables publishers to optimize their sites and marketing messages for different audience segments, even different individuals.

In addition, the platform features can dynamically alter sites according to current metrics and insights, and can also show ads or push specific content relevant to a user's interests.

NuConomy was founded in 2006 in Tel Aviv, Israel and is now headquartered in San Francisco, California. Earlier in the year, it received financing from marcoms group WPP.
