AlphaDetail Strengthens Senior Team

US pharma MR firm AlphaDetail has appointed Gloria Lee as Director of Professional Services, Jim Daly as Senior Director of Business Development and John Unipan as Director of Professional Services.

Based in the firm's San Mateo, California headquarters, Lee joins from Yahoo! where she was Director of Monetization. Before this, she spent seven years at Duff & Phelps, most recently as Director of the Market & Financial Analytics Healthcare Practice. She has also held positions at ZS Associates and Pfizer. Lee has an SM in Operations Research from MIT, and an MA and BA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.

Daly has more than 18 years' pharmaceutical consulting and business experience. Most recently, he worked in a senior client support role at Innovex, and previously he held senior positions at IMS Health, and Health Products Research. He has a BS in Business Management from Montclair State University.

During his 15 year career in the healthcare and pharma markets, quant analysis specialist Unipan has supervised and led hundreds of MR studies. Previous employers include Psyma Incorporated, TagetRx and GfK. Unipan has a BA from Bowdoin College and studied Applied Social Psychology at graduate level at the Claremont Graduate University.

Both Daly and Unipan are based in the company's Horsham, Pennsylvania office.

In January, the firm appointed Beth Thompson as Director of its Qualitative Research department.
