GfK Custom Research Hires Global CIO

GfK has appointed former TNS Director Bill Noah as Global Chief Information Officer for its Custom Research business, responsible for overall IT and software including software strategy for operations.

Bill NoahNoah joins with 13 years’ experience in software development and infrastructure, including streamlining interactive platforms for market research operations. Most recently, he was Director of Group IT at TNS.

‘With the number of multi-country projects we undertake every year, our global IT network is vital to support efficient sharing of information and hassle-free merger of numerous different data streams,’ said GfK NOP MD Phyllis Macfarlane. ‘With Bill’s huge knowledge and experience in global market research networks, he is ideally positioned to drive our continued investment in aligning IT and operations.’

Noah, who will be working across Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific, is based in GfK NOP’s London headquarters at Blackfriars Bridge.

Yesterday, GfK announced the appointment of industry veteran Allan Dib, who joins GfK NOP in London as Head of its Marketing Effectiveness Centre of Excellence.
