TNS Healthcare Expands Global Portfolio Team

In the US, TNS Healthcare has appointed Susanne Michel as MD in charge of its Global Market Access, Pricing and Reimbursement Practice; and Mark Sales as leader of its Global Stakeholder Management Practice.

Mark SalesPrior to joining, Michel held a senior role at a specialized consultancy where she was in charge of global projects assessing the market access potential of new and reformulated drugs, vaccines and diagnostics. She previously established the European Health Institute at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and worked for the Department of Health in the UK and the Ministry for Health in Germany. A medical doctor, Michel also holds a degree in Business Strategy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Her new role will involve providing market research consulting solutions to help pharma and biotech companies drive optimal access at optimal price points in markets around the world.

Sales previously worked as a Senior Territory Business Manager at Novartis, focused on blockbuster launch brands. He joined Novartis as the Global Sales Effectiveness Manager for Ophthalmics, Dermatology, Gastroenterology and Urology. Before this, he worked at IMS Health, where he provided strategic market reviews to key pharma customers. He began his career as a Field Intelligence Executive at Sanofi-Aventi, and holds a BSc in Business and Marketing Management from the University of Salford and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

At TNS Healthcare, Sales will focus on the firm's stakeholder management offerings, working with clients to enhance corporate reputation and maximize sales efficiency, productivity and performance.
