Engage Opens Research and Analytics Practice

In the UK, stakeholder engagement consultancy Engage Group has launched a Research and Analytics unit, and appointed former YouGov execs Andy Brown and Sarah Jordan to head the new offering.

The service will enable the firm to offer metrics around its four existing businesses: engagement consulting, brand and campaigns, publishing, and digital. It will also provide clients with a survey and measurement capability across all stakeholder audiences.

Brown joins with a background in organisational research and consulting. While working as MD of Organisational Consulting at YouGov, he was responsible for developing the firm's employee engagement research offering. Prior to this, he was a Partner at Mercer Consulting, Global Practice Leader at The Empower Group (the strategic consulting division of Manpower), and Head of Research at Gallup. He holds a doctorate in Survey Research Analysis from Oxford.

Jordan spent five years at YouGov, latterly as Research Manager, conducting large-scale employee engagement surveys for a wide range of organisations. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Manchester.

The two, who joined the firm in December, have previously managed a number of employee engagement studies commissioned by the Engage Group.

London-based Engage, which has additional offices in Edinburgh and Manchester, employs a team of 85 consultants, learning and development experts, creative professionals and communication specialists.
