Online Customer Behavior Tool Launched

In the US, customer behavior analytics specialist Quantivo has launched a new Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tool, Affinity Analytics, to uncover new insights about online customer behavior patterns.

Unlike existing web analytic solutions which focus on visits, page views and clickthrough metrics, the new service has been designed to examine pattern-based behavior of online customers to improve conversion rates and uncover key interactions.

The tool provides answers to questions such as which promoted items produced the most profitable follow-on purchases, or which customers are the most profitable over time. The firm says that this enables users to identify behavioral patterns relating to customer purchase preferences, promotion responses, buying trends and other customer behavior factors.

'Our system makes it fast, easy and affordable to answer the questions that drive business results, enabling companies to effectively increase their purchase conversion and click-thru rates,' said CEO Brian Kelly.
