TAB Appoints New Chairman

In New York, Jack Sullivan, SVP/Out-of-Home Activation Director of Starcom USA has been named Chairman of the Traffic Audit Bureau (TAB) Board of Directors.

Jack SullivanEstablished in 1933, TAB is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to provide audience measures for Out of Home (OoH) media in the United States.

'I am honored to serve in this post during such an important and exciting time for OoH,' said Sullivan. 'The TAB is only weeks away from rolling out its new EYES ON audience measurement system, which will provide an improved way of buying and selling OoH media and better substantiate how OoH media can positively benefit marketers.'

As a member of Starcom's OoH team since 1980, Sullivan is responsible for managing the agency's planning, buying, production and trafficking for OoH advertising. Over the course of his career, he has worked with major brands including Disney, Kraft, McDonald's, Nintendo and Procter & Gamble.

Sullivan, who has been a member of the TAB board since 1997, succeeds Andrea MacDonald, President of MacDonald Media.

In addition, the TAB has also appointed John Marson, Senior Manager, Media Planning, Kraft Foods and Steven Mueller, CEO, Outdoor Services as Vice Chairmen of its Board. Duncan Maurer, Director of Media and Production, Pernod Ricard USA has also joined the TAB Executive Committee.
