Social Media Consulting Launch

Seven experts in social media have launched a new enterprise combining a daily publication covering Web 2.0 trends with consulting services. The service uses the Socialmedia.biz domain and web site, made famous by an industry-leading blog.

The new virtual team offers end-to-end solutions for corporations and small to mid-size businesses working or looking to work in social media and social networking. White papers and case studies will be avalable, backed up by individual consultant time to help with campaign strategies and execution. Services will include strategic planning, online publicity and reputation management, marketing, business intelligence and search engine services.

The seven are Chris Abraham, co-founder and principal of online word-of-mouth consultancy Abraham Harrison; Deltina Hay, author and founder of the social media site PlumbSocial.com; former Sun and PwC exec Christopher S. Rollyson; Ayelet Noff, founder of consulting firm Blonde 2.0; Socialmedia.biz founder, blogger, entrepreneur and author J.D. Lasica, who also founded video hosting site Ourmedia.org; Joanna Lord, co-founder and CMO of job search site TheOnlineBeat.com; and David Spark, owner of Spark Media Solutions.
