Alliance for Verve and Vovici

March 6 2009

US research software firm Vovici and high-profile London-based start-up Verve have announced a strategic partnership to provide fully serviced customer communities and advisory panels for corporate clients in Europe.

The alliance brings together Verve's skills in community design and recruitment, qual and quant research with Vovici's v4 community platform, which integrates online communities with panel management and sophisticated web surveys.

The partnership will be able to build fully functional community sites in a single week if required, compared to four to eight weeks required for less capable sites by competitors, according to Jeannie Arthur, Partner and UK MD of Verve.

Andrew Cooper, Partner and CEO at Verve explains the move: 'Communities and panels are revolutionary - they allow business decision makers to engage with, conduct a dialogue, survey and listen to customers in a genuinely collaborative manner. And what's more all this can be done quicker and at less cost, on average, 40% less than traditional research. This is not just theory: Vovici software already powers over a hundred such customer communities and advisory panels in the USA. This is the future for a vast swathe of customer research.'

Dean Wiltse, CEO of Vovici, says both firms 'now see the tremendous opportunity which customer advisory panels and communities present to clients in these challenging economic times.'

Verve undertook an extensive review of the available platforms for customer panels, according to Jon Gumbrell, its Partner for Technology Progression, and found it 'very clear from a technology perspective, that Vovici offers by far the most integrated and refined platform'.

Verve's core services also include the provision of research design and consultancy which it says focus closely on needs so that clients 'don't waste money on so-called 'added value'.' Vovici's suite of Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) offerings include comprehensive survey software, panel management and online community solutions.
