Pharma BI Publisher Buys Spectra Intelligence

London-based pharma market intelligence report publisher URCH Publishing has acquired Spectra Intelligence, a publisher of syndicated pharma market research. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

URCH MD Edwin Bailey explained that the acquisition will allow his firm to expand its portfolio of research-driven healthcare industry market reports. The deal will also enable it to offer a more comprehensive platform for subscription-based clients and individual purchasers of business information.

Spectra Intelligence, which was founded in 2005, provides both syndicated and customised biopharma market research studies for the global biomedical, pharma, and allied healthcare industries.

Founder and Director of Research Tim Atkinson commented: 'I am extremely pleased that URCH will continue to carry on producing quality reports under the Spectra Intelligence brand.'
