Firms Partner for Social Media Trend Analysis

April 9 2009

UK customer insight specialist Beyond Analysis and social media services firm Netemic have partnered to deliver a social media analysis engine which predicts and analyses market trends and monitors brand equity through the millions of online conversations across the Internet.

Beyond Analysis will integrate its Reputica analytics application with iFeed, Netemic's social media discovery tool. These complementary technologies will address the issues of data reach and sentiment analytics and offer real-time analytics on the performance on brands online.

'All the information you need to make informed decisions is out there on the net - the issue is controlling and analysing it to reach the definitive conclusion,' explains Paul Alexander, CEO of Beyond Analysis. 'By bringing together these discovery and analytics engines we have created the means to reach this mine of critical information.'

Reputica provides companies with real-time access to their brands' ReputicaRating™ - a reputation scoring index based on the sentiment values of all discovered content. The firm draws on Beyond Analysis' experience in the extraction of retail value from complex data.

In turn, iFeed is a discovery and aggregation engine for social media that will provide Reputica with online content reach.

Last year, Beyond Analysis acquired Sydney-based engagement agency Enzyme Insight Solutions to bring its approach to data to the Australian market.
