SRAX
In the US, digital marketing and consumer data management platform SRAX has named Michael Malone Chief Financial Officer, responsible for its corporate finance and administrative functions.
SRAX's machine-learning technology analyzes marketing data to identify brands and content owners' core consumers and their characteristics across marketing channels. The firm's products for different verticals include SRAXshopper, SRAXauto, SRAXfan, and SRAX Social Management; while its BIGtoken is a consumer data management and distribution blockchain platform. The company recently sold a majority stake in its healthcare and pharmaceutical ad targeting and data business SRAXmd for $52m.
Malone joins from audio broadcast network Westood One, where he served as VP of Finance, responsible for leading all financial matters of the media division. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Cumulus Media and Citadel Broadcasting.
In his new role, he replaces former remote-working CFO JP Hannan, who announced his forthcoming departure earlier this month. Malone reports to CEO Christopher Miglino, who comments: ‘Mike has deep national media experience with over twelve years’ experience advising and overseeing complex integrations and restructurings as well as productively leading financial teams. Further, Mike comes highly recommended for this specific position by our former CFO JP Hannan, who worked side-by-side with Mike for many years and will assist with onboarding.
