NOP World Expands Further

Roper Starch Worldwide is to be acquired by NOP World and merged with Audits & Surveys Worldwide. On the basis of this acquisition, NOP will form a new integrated company called RoperASW Audits & Surveys Worldwide.

At present, it is believed that NOP World is the largest business-to-business agency in Europe, and the second fastest-growing market research organisation in the USA. The Roper acquisition should further strengthen NOP World's global position as a major research company. It should pay particular dividends in worldwide high-growth sectors such as consumer, automotive, healthcare, technology, media, business, financial and mystery shopping.

Roper does in fact add an extensive set of research services to the NOP World mix. Its syndicated reports reveal consumer attitudes, lifestyles, values and behaviour, both in the US and globally. In addition, it conducts both quantitative and qualitative proprietary studies to support effective strategic marketing, public affairs, and advertising and communications programmes for major corporations, media groups and government agencies.
