New European Sales and Marketing VP for GMI

Global Market Insite (GMI) has appointed a new vice president, Sales and Marketing, for its operation within Europe. Tariq Mirza will assume responsibility for the role in early November in London, building on his near decade of survey software support experience.

Prior to joining GMI, Tariq was managing director of Voxco (UK) Ltd, starting the UK office and establishing corporate brand image and sales throughout Europe. Before this he was employed at senior level in UK sales for SPSS MR, preceded by work at Quantime.

Tariq's remit is to steer GMI's immediate growth within Europe under the auspices of CEO and founder, Rob Monster. In addition, Tariq will serve as the company's global product manager for Net-CATI, GMI's web-based solution for CATI-based data collection.

Commenting on his new position Tariq said, "GMI has already achieved so much in 2 years from a standing start, and has now taken on-board an exceptionally knowledgeable management team who share a vision for bringing even richer benefits and functions to the Net-MR suite of tools. The drive and energy levels of the organisation as a whole is really impressive."
