Why The Web Works

October 12 2001

Market research consultant, ORC International, is hosting a free seminar at its London office on 1st November, to explore the impact that the latest Internet market research techniques are having in the IT/Telecoms sector.

This half day event will examine how the Internet can be used to improve the way in which research is conducted, analysed and reported, and how it can offer tangible benefits when integrated with traditional research methods.

Speakers feature consultants from ORC International's IT/Telecoms division, and the agenda includes:

  • Web evaluation and online mystery shopping
  • Online questionnaire design
  • Online purchase behaviour
  • Online focus groups
  • Online reporting
  • Online survey management and administration.

Explaining the purpose of the seminar, Ralph Risk of ORC International said "In the current economic climate, the IT/Telecoms sector is more aware than ever of the importance of conducting research to help maintain market share and grow within vertical markets. Our event will demonstrate how using the Internet can help companies gain more value from their research and use the results more effectively."
