New Soft Drinks Intelligence from Corporate Focus

October 29 2001

Competitive advantage through industry intelligence has been the core business of Corporate Focus since its inception early in 2000. Initially concentrating on news and analysis of the key players in the consumer healthcare market, the company has now announced the launch of its service based on soft drinks information.

"Corporate Focus Beverages" is designed to provide the same level of analysis and monitoring for UK beverages as the already established healthcare service. Within this, the main companies to be covered to start with are Cadbury Schweppes, PepsiCo and the Coca-Cola Company. The intelligence created should help to reveal opportunities presented by understanding corporate strategies at a formative stage, acquisition and divestment policies, licensing, innovation, and worldwide new product
development, branding philosophy and management as well as identifying strengths and weaknesses and indicating investment priorities.

Ongoing coverage of the industry will take the form of a series of quarterly newsletters, along with the option to take an annual foundation report. These publications are to be distilled from hundreds of different sources worldwide and should provide an up-to-date review of developments at corporate, divisional, regional and global levels.

In terms of users, the data is recommended for all companies involved in the soft drinks industry including manufacturers, advertising agencies, PR agencies, design
agencies, packaging and ingredients suppliers.

Corporate Focus has a dedicated website at www.throughtheloop.com/focus that contains more details and samples that may be downloaded.
