DRNO Launches Diary Email Service

February 4 2002

As of today you can register for a free, regular email with details of market research *events* of relevance to you - conferences, seminars, courses, speaker meetings, training, interest groups and others. Select the types of event you want and choose from weekly, fortnightly or monthly emails. Register here or read more details first...

The service enables you to select from the following options:

  • location
  • target audience
  • organisation hosting and
  • type of event

The format is almost identical to that of the news emails, with a link to more detail of each event. The service is free - text ads for particular events will be featured at the top of the email. If you would like details of pricing for the latter please email us at diary@mrweb.com

The emails will warn of each relevant event twice, once when they are input and once shortly before they take place. For example, if you register for weekly emails you will get a list of all those input in the last week and all those taking place in the next week. The idea is to give you a chance to book a slot in your diary when you first see the event, and then remind you nearer the time.

The DRNO diary section was revitalised in December and now appears to contain more events than any other research diary we can find online, both UK and International. It is updated from a variety of sources and is partly input by MrWeb staff and partly by event hosts themselves.

The MrWeb site has had a very successful start to 2002, averaging 5,000 page views per working day for the first time ever. We believe this makes us the most visited MR site in the UK - but as it's so difficult to get reliable statistics on competitor sites we are open to argument...

Register now for events emails.
