Management Changes at Harris Interactive

March 25 2002

This week sees the departure of two senior personnel from Harris Interactive/Total. David Clemm is to retire as vice chairman, effective from the beginning of next month, whilst Darren Noyce is leaving his UK Research Director role to take up a new position in London with German agency Skopos.

From April onwards, Clemm will continue to serve on the board of the company as an outside director while his responsibilities for global operations and Internet research development will be transferred to others within the group. According to Gordon S. Black, chairman and CEO of Harris, 'David, has been my partner and friend for almost 20 years. Harris Interactive would not be where it is today without the many great contributions and effort of David Clemm. His vision, determination and guidance have been Instrumental in growing Harris Interactive from a small, regional company to a world leader in Internet-based market research - we couldn't have done it without him.'

Late last year Harris Interactive acquired Total Research. The combined company has offices in the USA, the U.K. and Japan and now ranks as one of the 20 largest market research firms in the world.

Meanwhile, Darren Noyce is set to take up his new position as UK Director at Skopos next month. Darren will be in charge of growing the company in the UK from its office in Chiswick, maximising the commercial advantages available to the firm - especially from its unique understanding of Internet Business; from its continually growing pan-European panel of Internet users (Euro-Panel) for online research; as well as its existing relationships with clients from the company's operations in France and Germany in particular.

SKOPOS is working on a regular basis for clients such as Ford, BMW, Daimler Chrysler, Siemens, Ericsson, Vodafone, BBC and Egg.

Commenting on his new position, Darren Noyce says, 'Growing Skopos in the UK is a fantastic challenge for me, and one I can't wait to get my teeth into. I am eager to stress to the UK market that Skopos is not just about online research. The Skopos philosophy is simply 'Intelligent Research'; combining the best offline and online research methods, with business understanding and first class service. This has and will empower our clients' decision-making and ultimately ensure their success - and keep them coming back to Skopos!'

Darren will report directly to the company's German HQ in Cologne.
