New Ops Manager for ATR UK

British Audience Research Board (BARB) TV ratings supplier ATR UK has appointed Marco Barbaccia as its new Operations Manager. ATR UK is AGB's local operating research company for the UK.

Barbaccia, a commercial graduate with a strong recent research history, has spent the last 14 years of his career with ACNielsen. As European Panel Operations Director of the Nielsen//NetRatings section, he was responsible for the setting up of at-work Internet audience measurement panels. Prior to this he was the South European Panel Operations Director, responsible for the set up and management of the audience samples.

Beside Barbaccia's useful ACNielsen experience, he has also worked as an Analyst & Software developer for the Italian division of Total Petroleum. Prior to this, he enjoyed a stint as Product Manager for Club degli Editori, a leader in mail order books in Italy.

In his new role as Operations Manager, Marco will be responsible for managing the UK panel operation and ensuring the continuous improvement and provision of quality data.
