Euromonitor Re-launches Website

May 13 2002

Market analyst Euromonitor has announced a major company website re-design and re-launch, with the new site having just gone live this week.

The new Euromonitor.com has been updated, and now provides free executive summaries, instant data delivery in one of three formats, industry-specific data pages, and a range of company profiles. It also enjoys a number of new features including:

  • global listing of the top 30 companies for each major industry.
  • links to company reports across industry sectors
  • regular articles on industry trends.

The free executive summaries, in particular, are set to become more of a key feature of the site. At present, summaries are available for 52 countries in the OTC healthcare, household cleaning products, food, pet food and alcoholic drinks sectors. Newly-updated summaries for disposable paper products, cosmetics and toiletries and hot and soft drinks are due to be posted shortly.

Speaking about the re-launch, Olivier Hofmann, Euromonitor's website manager, commented 'In terms of improved functionality, the new euromonitor.com allows users to instantly download data in HTML, PDF or word versions at no extra cost. More advanced search options and the ability to log into a library of previously purchased reports will help our customers find the information they want and keep track of data purchases. No registration is required to search for data on the site, saving our clients time and making euromonitor.com easy to use. The site will be kept fresh and interesting with daily updates, including free data from new reports as they are published'.
