E-Tabs Launches New Software Versions

August 21 2002

E-Tabs has announced the release of its new E-Tabs Reader software (version 3) offering greatly improved facilities for archiving, distribution and reporting of market research tables.

The E-Tabs Reader software replaces traditional paper tabs with a flexible electronic version, enabling market research firms and client company researchers to communicate more efficiently, create reports and presentations faster, and reduce the costs of printing, storage and distribution.

The result of significant development and user feedback, and launched last month at E-Tabs User Conference in New York, version 3 represents a major update to the E-Tabs Reader software suite: a completely re-designed user interface and new facilities improve access to tables and increase productivity for research professionals.

E-Tabs has maintained the two highly acclaimed versions of the Reader: the E-Tabs Lite Reader for free client distribution; and the E-Tabs Professional Reader with advanced facilities to boost researcher productivity. In version 3, both have been integrated to offer a simple upgrade path for power users.

'This is a cost-sensitive market where traditional tables still form a key component of quantitative research studies,' explains Benjamin Rietti, CEO of E-Tabs. 'We have shown that by delivering tabs with E-Tabs Reader instead of paper, Word or Acrobat, research suppliers and buyers can benefit from faster reporting of key results, and build an electronic archive for easy access and dissemination.'
