Winyaps Wins the Day

September 2 2002

IT agency ATP has just released Winyaps 3.43. This version contains two important new features as well as providing numerous small enhancements requested by customers. In addition research agency NFO have standardised on Winyaps as their table presentation and distribution software after a lengthy evaluation process.

Winyaps takes the standard text tables produced by most market research tabulation software and converts them to presentation quality output. The tables can then be stored and distributed electronically throughout the organisation, as well as to clients using the free Winyaps Reader. Winyaps also acts as a gateway to other formats allowing the user to produce Word, Excel and HTML tables in a quick and simple manner.

Raz Khan, Managing Director of ATP said, 'We're really pleased at ATP that NFO chose Winyaps over other alternatives. Winyaps is now used by 9 of the top 10 BMRA research companies in the UK, as well as many major players worldwide. We believe this is due to our constant efforts to tailor Winyaps to provide researchers and clients with a software tool that helps them get their job done.'

The major new features of the new release are:

  • Formatted Excel export. Winyaps can now produce fully formatted Excel files including a linked contents page. This may be useful for clients who cannot install the free Winyaps reader due to corporate software policy, but still want presentation quality electronic tables.
  • Export to Report Direct. Winyaps can now export tables in a format suitable for use in Report Direct from MRDC.
