Spanish Language Panel of 50,000 Households

September 18 2002

US agency Decision Analyst, Inc. has been building its international Internet-based consumer panels in Spain, Mexico, Central America, and South America. There are now 50,000 Spanish-language households participating in those panels.

Panel membership is highest in Spain with 15,000 households, followed by Mexico with 10,000 households. Other sizeable panels include Argentina with 10,000 households, Chile with 5,000 households, Peru with 3,000, and Venezuela with 4,000 households. Other Central American, Caribbean and South American countries account for the remainder of the Spanish-language households. All international Spanish-language panels are growing rapidly.

'Our goal is to boost our Spanish-language Internet panels to over 100,000 households by early 2003,' commented Jerry W. Thomas, president and CEO of Decision Analyst. 'Over the next five to 10 years, these countries will become even more strategically important for international trade.'
