ESOMAR Asia Pacific Conference

Under the theme 'Facing up to the Globalisation Movement', ESOMAR is hosting its 4th Annual ASIA PACIFIC Conference in Singapore between 1 and 3 December 2002.

This annual conference will address the globalisation process which continues promising opportunities and challenges within the region. Topics on global branding and global communication, cultural patterns, segmentation and new business models such as CRM will be presented as well as case studies and on-stage in-depth debates and discussions. The economic reforms in the region continue encouraging the restructuring of businesses; there are more countries opening their domestic markets to international trade. Global investors are actively seeking opportunities to enter Asia full force or continue expanding in the region. Given the vast distances and the variety of languages, the markets in Asia are highly complex, but still, they remain a challenge.

Martin Lindstrom, Strategic Advisor on Branding is keynote speaker and recognised as one of the world's primary clicks & mortar branding gurus. Lindstrom, based in Australia, has authored several books on the use of emerging techniques for building strong, international online brands.
