AEMRI Changes Name

AEMRI (previously known as the Association of European Market Research Institutes) has changed its name to AIMRI, the Alliance of International Market Research Institutes in order to reflect its wider international membership.

There are currently 95 members of the Alliance, of which at least a quarter are based outside Europe. New developments at AIMRI are leading to closer networking by members and the growth of virtual larger specialist industry research groups within the umbrella organization.

Specialist research groups are being set up for Travel and Tourism and for the Pharmaceutical industry. At the same time, there will be greater promotion of AIMRI membership on members' letterheads/brochures/websites etc as the organisation repositions as an alliance of research agencies.
