Record-Breaking Month for MrWeb

The MrWeb site, combining news, jobs, directories, diary and link libraries for market researchers, enjoyed a busiest-ever month in May with record numbers of jobs posted, pages viewed, recruiters advertising and subscribers signed up. On three occasions in the past four weeks, more than 10,000 site pages have been viewed in one day.

Recruitment consultants Personnel Resources, ID-SS and Nicholson Glover are all new to the site since May 1st, and the Australian consultancy CCI has restarted advertising. More than 350 new vacancy ads were posted on the site in May, with details being emailed to more than 2,000 registered candidates on a single night.

The takeover of NFO by TNS was our most viewed story ever in its first week, and contributed to a record day with 11,000+ site pages viewed on 20th May. Since then the daily total has passed 10,000 on two further occasions and the average for a working day is running at around 8,000. The Home Page had about 7,500 views in May.

This is one piece of news you won't be reading in other parts of the MR press - we've given up sending our press releases to them as we are unmentionable in some competitor publications, to the point of advertisers and contributors being asked to remove all references.
