US research consultancy The NPD Group have announced their second senior appointment in a week. Peter Goldman joins the company as Director of Client Development and Sales and will work for the company's appliance and housewares tracking division, NPD Houseworld.
Goldman has nearly 20 years of marketing, sales and general management experience in the research and tech sectors, most recently as Executive Vice President for Dynamics Direct, Inc., a Los Angeles-based software development company. He has also served as Vice President of Sales for MessageMedia, Inc., a permission-based e-mail marketing firm acquired by DoubleClick, Inc.
Goldman will work with NPD's account managers on optimising customer service and support, and will help to expand the current client base for the division.
