ORC International has announced the opening of an office in Perth, Western Australia, specialising in employee research.

The company's UK office has previously conducted research in Australia for organisations such as SAAB Automobile, BAE Systems, BP and production technology specialist, Invensys.

Deputy MD Rory MacNeill says that Australian clients will also be able to tap in to the company's benchmarking data of more than 1.1 million UK employee opinions. 'In the UK we've been providing specialist employee research services for more than 17 years, and we're now known as one of the key organisations in this field'.

A free seminar, entitled 'Using employee research to improve performance' is being hosted on the 11 March at the Bluewater Function Room, Heathcote Centre, 56 Duncraig Road, Applecross, Perth. Topics include:

Running an effective survey: aiming for improved organisational performance
Running an online employee survey
Understanding the employee lifecycle
Measuring stress in the workplace
