Jamie BurnettUK-based research consultancy Quadrangle has appointed former Ipsos MORI exec Jamie Burnett as Analytics Director, in charge of its Analytics team.

Quadrangle was launched in central London in 1987 as a full service research agency and consultancy specialising in brand planning and customer strategy. The firm also has its own data collection division called FieldWorks.

Burnett (pictured) joins after eight years at Ipsos where he co-founded and directed the agency’s Research Methodology Centre. After graduating, he began his research career at BMRB, where he latterly served as Operations Director.

In his new position, Burnett will lead the Analytics team’s pitches and increase client exposure across the division.

The firm has also hired Jenny Betteridge as Senior Research Manager, Dia Anna Olafsdottir as Senior Analyst, and former intern Laura Hilger.

Betteridge joins from Which?, where she helped develop a Customer Voice programme, monitoring and organising real-time feedback across the publisher’s entire portfolio of magazines, web sites and services. In her new role, she will play a key role on the O2 account, working across customer segmentation and satisfaction programmes.

Olafsdottir, who joins from GfK NOP, will be responsible for running quantitative analysis projects, using multivariate techniques, as well as consulting on questionnaire design and proposals.

Hilger, who began her internship with Quadrangle in November 2011, graduated from the University of Sussex in 2010 with a First in International Relations before completing an MSc in Social Research Methods at the London School of Economics (LSE). During her academic career, Hilger has specialised in government and social methodologies as well as founding and chairing LSE’s Society of Methodology.
