US-based Information Services Group (ISG) has elected Guillermo Marmol as a member of its Board of Directors.

ISG was founded in 2006 by former VNU boss Michael Connors as an acquisition company in the information services industry.

Marmol is currently President of his own consultancy, Marmol & Associates, which provides advisory services and investment capital to early stage technology companies. Prior to this, he was a member of the executive committee of Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS); CEO of Luminant Worldwide Corporation; an executive of IT firm Perot Systems; and a Partner at McKinsey & Company.

The appointment brings the ISG Board to a total of seven members, six of whom are independent directors.
