Online sampling and data collection company Research Now has promoted Kate Svoboda to Vice President of Operations for Canada, the US Northeast and the US West. She was previously Director of Operations for the same areas.

Svoboda joined the company in 2004, and has managed teams through several years of rapid organic growth and two corporate mergers. In her new role, based in the Toronto office, she will continue to oversee project management and sampling teams in Canada and San Francisco, and work closely with the global operations team worldwide.

EVP of Global Operations John Tan, to whom she reports, says Svoboda will play an important role in implementing a number of key operational initiatives, and comments: ‘With over 12 years of industry experience and nearly eight years of consistently delivering top quality work for Research Now, Kate demonstrates a high commitment to our clients and is ideally suited to take on this position.’
